Vote for Tubular!!

I have been testing the Blinc Kiss Me Tube Mascara now for a few weeks. At first, I wasn't sure. It truly is a different kind of mascara. I have VERY sensitive lashes and cannot use too many mainstream mascaras. I've relied on Estee Lauder mascaras for years as my "least itchy". I'm definitely fussy over mascara, so trying a new one was a scary venture.
But, after much thought and comparison, BLINC gets my vote!
Cons:
Expensive. I got mine from drugstore.com. $24.
Takes a few extra seconds to dry...so don't blink too soon.
Pros:
Enough to outweigh cons. This mascara does not itch at all. It applies beautifully and it NEVER, I mean NEVER makes you look like a raccoon. I absolutely never have black or brown/black under my eyes anymore. This mascara applies as little tubes over each lash. You remove it by rubbing your eyelashes gently with warm water and it comes off as little tubes. No black mess. Amazing. I wildly prefer the non-raccoon look.

I give it twenty eyelashes curled up :)

Speaking of Lips!

Okay, I started this blog and then ran away... but I'm back! I have begun testing some products so I can review them for you!!
My first is a definite TWO THUMBS UP!!!

Zoya Hot Lips Glossy Lip Balm. $6 for a really good size squeeze tube. My color of choice: "wish". But there are dozens more to choose from! It smells fruity and delicious (especially to a girl with virtually no sense of smell!) and it feels wonderfully moist without being overly sticky. They got it just right! Check out zoya.com for colors. Shipping is pricey...so order more than one or wait until I'm done testing the nail polish and pick up some of those, too! This is a product I will happily be purchasing more of!!

Soft Lips!

Soft lips are wonderful and a smile is your best accessory, so make it a pretty one! Here's an AMAZING (and pretty tasty) exfoliation treat for your kisser:

Mix one packet (or equal sized amount) of sugar with a dab of olive oil. Rub it on your lips for about 60 seconds. Now I personally licked most of it off, but you could wipe it off instead :) Yes, nice soft lips.

I really like this tip and had to pass it on. Soft lips, one of my favorite things!

(Thanks to Mom for passing on her Woman's Day magazine; this tip is from the September 16, 2008 issue)
